Using products that are verified to be safer throughout their lifecycle, from the manufacturing process to final product to eventual reuse/recycling, such as paints, finishes, & flooring with low or no VOC (volatile organic compounds), FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified woods, and Trex decking.

Reducing the amount of waste created during the project by working with local firms in order to reuse anything possible and recycle the rest.
